When I was a child, my grandfather had a Cadillac, a full size one not one of the compact ones they sell today, from his rear-view dangled half of dozens of those little vanilla car freshener trees. In the morning, he could grab his keys and say, 'Let's take a ride.' We would drive past the miles of tobacco fields with all four windows rolled all the way down and the wind would dance throughout the car, that dance smelled, and that smell was a mixture of Tobacco and Vanilla. The Cadalliac broke, my grandfather died, and that smell was just a memory etched in my heart. With Dojo Candles, I wanted to recreate that memory... so I present to you North Carolina Rd.
